What We Don’t Track

Guide Updated: August 30, 2025

SkiveCore is built with privacy in mind. Below is a clear list of what we do not track or collect about you, along with a short note on the limited data we handle to operate the service securely.

We Don’t Track Or Collect

  • Private message contents for profiling or ads: Your direct, one‑to‑one messages are protected with end‑to‑end encryption (E2EE). We can’t read them.
  • Data for sale: We don’t sell your personal information to third parties.
  • Precise location: We don’t collect or store your precise GPS location.
  • Contact lists without consent: We don’t scan your address book or upload your contacts behind the scenes.
  • Microphone/camera in the background: We don’t access your mic or camera unless you intentionally use a feature that needs it.
  • Keystrokes or clipboard: We don’t log what you type or copy outside of standard, visible inputs.
  • Biometrics: We don’t collect faceprints, voiceprints, or similar biometric identifiers.
  • Shadow profiles: We don’t build profiles about non‑users.
  • Cross‑site tracking for ads: We don’t track you around the web to build behavioral ad profiles for our own use.
  • Data to train external models: We don’t use your private content to train third‑party AI models.

What We Do Collect (Operational Only)

To run the service, protect accounts, and fix issues, SkiveCore processes minimal operational data, such as:

  • Login and session data to keep you signed in securely.
  • Basic technical logs (e.g., timestamps, IP addresses in server logs, error codes) for reliability and security.
  • Abuse and security signals (e.g., failed logins, rate‑limit events) to prevent fraud and keep users safe.

During early access, we keep this narrowly focused. See our Privacy Policy for scope and updates.

Notes About Third‑Party Services

Some features may rely on third‑party infrastructure or integrations. Those providers may process limited data under their own policies (for example, to deliver media or measure performance). We avoid unnecessary tracking and will document material changes in the Privacy Policy.
