Creating Your SkiveCore Account

Welcome to SkiveCore! Setting up your secure account is the first step to private communication. Follow this guide to get started.

Step 1: Basic Information

First, we need some basic details to set up your profile:

Full Name: Enter your first and last name as you'd like it to appear (this may be visible to contacts depending on future features).
Username: Choose a unique username. This is how others might find you on SkiveCore. It can only contain letters, numbers, underscores, and hyphens.
Email Address: Provide a valid email address that you can access. We'll use this to verify your account and for important notifications or password recovery. This must be a real, verifiable email.

Step 2: Secure Your Account

Choose a strong, unique password for your SkiveCore account. Using a password manager is highly recommended. Your password must meet the following requirements:

Be at least 8 characters long.
Contain at least one uppercase letter (A-Z).
Contain at least one lowercase letter (a-z).
Contain at least one digit (0-9).
Contain at least one special character (like ! @ # $ % ^ & * _ - + =).

Step 3: Date of Birth (Age Verification)

Please enter your date of birth accurately in MM/DD/YYYY format (e.g., 07/04/1990).

Crucial Requirement: You must be 16 years of age or older to use SkiveCore. Providing a false date of birth to circumvent this requirement is a violation of our Terms of Use.

Accounts found to belong to users under the age of 16 will be automatically and permanently banned without appeal.

Step 4: Email Verification

After you submit the sign-up form with valid information:

We will immediately send a 6-digit verification code to the email address you provided.
Check your inbox (and spam/junk folder, just in case).
You will be directed to a verification page. Enter the 6-digit code exactly as it appears in the email.
Once the correct code is submitted, your email address is verified!

This step confirms you own the email address, which is essential for account security and recovery.

Step 5: All Set!

Congratulations! Once your email is verified with the correct code, your SkiveCore account is active and ready to use. You can log in and start exploring the platform.
