DMCA / Copyright Report

Guide Updated: August 30, 2025

Read Before You File

  • Safe Harbor Removal: Upon receipt of a valid DMCA notice under 17 U.S.C. §512(c)(3), SkiveCore will expeditiously remove or disable access to the identified material.
  • Notice to Uploader: We will notify the uploader and provide a copy of your notice (including your contact information) with instructions on submitting a counter‑notification if they believe the removal was in error (e.g., license, fair use).
  • Counter‑Notice and Restoration: If we receive a valid counter‑notification under §512(g)(3), we will forward it to you. Unless you inform us within 10 business days that you filed an action seeking a court order, we may restore the content between 10–14 business days after forwarding.
  • Optional Pre‑DMCA Resolution: SkiveCore believes in giving all users a voice—not every dispute has to start with a formal takedown. We encourage rights holders, big and small, to use our optional arbitration process so both parties can present their claims and seek quick resolution. The DMCA form remains available at all times.
  • Accuracy: You must submit a valid DMCA notice including the required statements under penalty of perjury. Knowingly false claims may create liability under 17 U.S.C. §512(f).
