Logging Into Your SkiveCore Account

Guide Updated: May 2, 2025

Getting back into your SkiveCore account is usually straightforward. Here’s how it works.

Logging In With Extra Security (Two-Factor Authentication)

If you've added an extra layer of security to your account (often called Two-Factor Authentication or 2FA), you'll have one extra step after entering your username and password correctly.

This step helps prove it's really you logging in, even if someone else somehow got your password. Here’s what might happen next:

Option 1: Code from your Authenticator App

You'll see a screen asking for a 6-digit code.

  • Open the authenticator app on your phone (like Google Authenticator, Authy, Duo Mobile, or whichever one you set up).
  • Find the code listed for SkiveCore. These codes change every 30-60 seconds.
  • Type the current 6-digit code into the SkiveCore login page and submit it.

Option 2: Approve from a Notification (Easier!)

If you have the SkiveCore app installed on your phone and enabled this feature, you might get a push notification sent directly to your phone.

  • The notification will ask something like "Are you trying to log in to SkiveCore?".
  • Simply tap "Approve" or "Yes, this was me" on the notification.
  • This instantly logs you in on the website or other device, usually skipping the need to enter the 6-digit code!

(Note: Sometimes you might get the notification *and* see the screen asking for a code. Approving the notification is usually the fastest way in!)
