Reporting Harmful Content
Guide Updated: August 30, 2025
Use this guide to report harmful or abusive content on SkiveCore. Because private, one‑to‑one chats are protected with end‑to‑end encryption (E2EE), we cannot see or moderate those messages. For public areas (blogs, comments, videos, posts), please use the built‑in report tools.
Private Chats and E2EE: What We Can’t See
- Direct messages are end‑to‑end encrypted. SkiveCore cannot read or retrieve their contents.
- Because of this, you cannot report private chat messages to us for review.
- If someone is abusive in chat, use the in‑app options to Mute or Block them.

Report Public Content (Blogs, Comments, Videos, Posts)
- Open the item (post, video, blog, comment) that violates our rules.
- Click the Report or Flag option associated with that item.
- Select the most accurate reason (e.g., harassment, hate, threats, sexual content involving minors, illegal activity, doxxing, spam).
- Provide any additional context that helps our review (links, timestamps, why it harms).
- Submit the report. Our team triages according to severity and policy.
Misuse of reporting tools (false or bad‑faith reports) may lead to restrictions.
If Abuse Happens in Private Chat
- Mute or Block: Open the conversation menu and choose Mute or Block to stop further messages.
- Manage notifications: Adjust alerts to avoid further disturbance.
Because chats are E2EE, SkiveCore cannot review or remove private messages.
What Happens After You Report
- Our team reviews reports of public content against our rules and applicable laws.
- We may remove content, limit visibility, restrict accounts, or escalate as required.
- For privacy reasons, we may not share detailed outcomes with reporters.
